Eric Greenberg, CEO and Founder
Eric Greenberg has more than 25 years of groundbreaking Internet, security and IT experience as an executive, author, and consultant. Most recently, Eric served as SVP of Security and Risk Solutions at Integralis where he led innovation and significant new business growth. During his tenure, Integralis was successfully acquired by NTT Communications. Highlights of Eric’s career include his role at Netscape where he led their security group managing the deployment of a range of pioneering technologies including the one used for nearly all security on the Internet today, the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS) protocol. As chief operating officer of Litronic, he prepared the company’s identity management product and services for its successful IPO. At a key time in the growth of the Internet, as Director of Engineering for Global SprintLink, Eric led the design and deployment of one of the largest international Internet networks of its time. He also served as VP of IT Global Services at the Discovery Channel where he managed their worldwide voice, video delivery and data infrastructure.
Consulting with Fortune 500 clients, investors, defense and government customers, Eric has guided large-scale cutting-edge engagements in security, IT, open source intelligence, and identity management. He has led mission-critical security efforts including the secure trading system used by the North American power industry to conduct more than $30 billion in online transactions.
Eric writes for leading industry magazines, serves on corporate advisory boards, is frequently quoted in leading media outlets and is the author of two widely read books, Mission Critical Security Planner and Network Application Frameworks. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Stephanie Lokmer, EVP Business Development
Stephanie Lokmer has more than 25 years of experience as a pioneering business development and marketing executive. As a top executive and consultant with leading global telecommunications companies, Stephanie has led pivotal efforts in deployment of new products and services catapulting company commercial and government sector growth including global data center services expansion, telecom privatization, and strategic company acquisitions. As an early member of the pioneering QVC team (then Comcast QVC), Stephanie co-led the $300M+ expansion of the cable network into Germany, Mexico and Japan and oversaw agreements in Asia, Europe, Central America and the Middle East. Stephanie is a sought-after expert and trusted advisor on major IT initiatives within federal, homeland security, and defense agencies and has directly advised the military on crucial war-time and disaster-response IT infrastructure reconstruction. She was selected for and attended the National Security Program at the US Army War College. Stephanie has a BA degree from Bethany College and Tubigen University (Germany) with post-graduate work at Georgetown University and George Washington University.
Rudy Yukich, Managing Partner, Cloud and Virtualization Systems
Rudy Yukich leads major complex consulting services efforts in the government and commercial sectors. His production and enterprise environment expertise includes strong knowledge and experience with industry verticals including healthcare, financial, state and local government, and media. Rudy combines deep transformational IT experience with a proven track record in traditional and cloud application development. Rudy holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.
Matthew Sullivan, Managing Partner, Enterprise Infrastructure, Storage, and Security
Matthew Sullivan combines in-depth systems development experience and large-scale production data center infrastructure design, storage, operations, and maintenance experience with a strong and successful history on the cutting-edge of application development for government and commercial clients. Matt holds dual bachelors degrees in Computer Science and History, both from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Becky Bace, Advisory Board Member
Becky Bace is widely recognized as one of the most influential people in information security today. Ms. Bace was named one of the top ten security professionals in the industry (Information Security Magazine, 2008), one of the five most influential women in security (Information Security Magazine, 2005), and received a Distinguished Leadership Award from the National Security Agency (1995) in recognition of her work leading the intrusion detection research program. Her career includes roles in research, development, operational management, and strategy in settings ranging from the U.S. Intelligence Community to a national laboratory (Los Alamos National Laboratory) to her role as a strategic venture capital consultant in Silicon Valley where she was a catalyst for a number of successful startup companies that have greatly advanced security and IT systems management.
Her publication credits include the books Intrusion Detection (Macmillan, 2000) and (with Fred Chris Smith) A Guide to Forensic Testimony: The Art and Practice of Presenting Testimony as An Expert Technical Witness, (Addison-Wesley, October, 2002) She is also author of NIST Special Publication SP 800-31 Intrusion Detection and the chapters on intrusion detection, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment for the Computer Security Handbook, 4 Ed., (Wiley, 2003) and 5 Ed. (Wiley, 2006), considered the definitive practice handbooks for information security professionals.
Anton Chuvakin, Advisory Board Member
Dr. Anton Chuvakin is a recognized security expert in the field of log management and PCI DSS compliance. He is an author of books "Security Warrior" and "PCI Compliance" and a contributor to "Know Your Enemy II", "Information Security Management Handbook" and others. Anton has published dozens of papers on log management, SIEM, correlation, security data analysis, PCI DSS, security management. His blog "Security Warrior" is one of the most popular in the industry. In addition, Anton teaches classes and presents at many security conferences across the world; he recently addressed audiences in United States, UK, Singapore, Spain, Russia and other countries. He works on emerging security standards and serves on advisory boards of several security start-ups.
Currently, Anton is developing his security consulting practice, focusing on logging and PCI DSS compliance for security vendors and Fortune 500 organizations. Dr. Anton Chuvakin was formerly a Director of PCI Compliance Solutions at Qualys. Previously, Anton worked at LogLogic as a Chief Logging Evangelist, tasked with educating the world about the importance of logging for security, compliance and operations. Before LogLogic, Anton was employed by a security vendor in a strategic product management role. Anton earned his Ph.D. degree from Stony Brook University.
Arun K. Sood, Advisory Board Member
Dr. Arun K. Sood is Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science and Co-Director International Cyber Center Director at George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. Dr. Sood is also CEO of SCIT Labs Inc, a spin-off of George Mason University licensing the Self Cleansing Intrusion Tolerance (SCIT) virtualization and cloud technology pioneered by Dr. Sood and his team. He has published more than 150 papers, two edited books, and is a recognized expert and pioneer in the field of intrusion tolerance. His research has been supported by the Office of Naval Research, National Imagery and Mapping Agency, National Science Foundation, U.S. Army Belvoir RD&E Center, U. S. Army TACOM, U.S. Department of Transportation, NATO, and private industry. He has held academic positions at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, and IIT, Delhi. Dr. Sood received the B.Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, in 1966, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, in 1967 and 1971, respectively.
